Fred's Personal Needs

Fred is so grateful for all of the love and support he has received. For Fred, this was unsolicited, unexpected and humbling. The GoFundMe is now closed for donations and all of.his needs have been more than met!!  With a grateful heart, he says "Thank you!" The final love gifts for Fred totaled $184,266. What a wonderful Nation/World of people we have.

    3. I was going to ask about emailing a gift card. Is there a Target in the area or is Amazon a better option. Please respond to my email @ ms.donaldmsn@gmail.com

  2. How about academic needs? As a previously homeless now Physician minority I've walked a similar path to Fred. I'm heavily involved in mentorship and would love to help him reach his ultimate goal of medical school.

    1. What an amazing offer. My father was in a similar situation as a young man and managed to get through Med School after dropping out to work and save, twice. I wish he was still alive to offer mentorship as well! God bless you!

    4. I am a current medical student and wrote to the successforfred email address with the same inquiry. I'm sure Fred's enormous determination and resourcefulness will enable him to succeed in every endeavor. I and my fiance, also a physician, would be thrilled to help!

  3. How to put funds in campus bookstore? I was a commuter student, and books were my biggest expense. They are often from small print companies, can cost 100.00 and more, and often can only be resold for half their original cost.

  4. Could he use a Walmart gift card to set up his apartment? Is there one nearby with easy access for him?

  5. Does Fred have an Amazon Prime account? As a fellow college student I'm able to get the bulk of my text books much cheaper on Amazon than I can get them through the college bookstore and Amazon Prime offers free 2 day shipping on tons of items, including most of the text books I get through Amazon. If he doesn't have a Prime account, I would love to gift him one.

  8. Does he already have a TV? I have one I was holding back to give him if he needs one. It's not very big but it will work in a bedroom.

  9. I can't afford to buy it, but hoping someone will buy him a laptop for school (who is coordinating this to make sure he doesn't get duplicates?). Also, hoping some local family will step up and take him in next Summer break and maybe school breaks/holidays (or give him a ride to his family).
