Fred is so grateful for all of the love and support he has received. For Fred, this was unsolicited, unexpected and humbling. The GoFundMe is now closed for donations and all of.his needs have been more than met!! With a grateful heart, he says "Thank you!" The final love gifts for Fred totaled $184,266. What a wonderful Nation/World of people we have.

Is there an email to send electronic Amazon gift cards to? Please let me know! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYvonne Balderrama
I would also like to know, I'd like to give him some Amazon gift cards
DeleteThey are using the email at the bottom of the post above.
DeleteI was going to ask about emailing a gift card. Is there a Target in the area or is Amazon a better option. Please respond to my email @ ms.donaldmsn@gmail.com

DeleteHow about academic needs? As a previously homeless now Physician minority I've walked a similar path to Fred. I'm heavily involved in mentorship and would love to help him reach his ultimate goal of medical school.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful offer.
DeleteWhat an amazing offer. My father was in a similar situation as a young man and managed to get through Med School after dropping out to work and save, twice. I wish he was still alive to offer mentorship as well! God bless you!
DeleteSheena, that's amazing! He would cherish that even more!
DeleteThat's amazing, and the exact thing we need to see more of! God bless you!!
DeleteI am a current medical student and wrote to the successforfred email address with the same inquiry. I'm sure Fred's enormous determination and resourcefulness will enable him to succeed in every endeavor. I and my fiance, also a physician, would be thrilled to help!
DeleteHow to put funds in campus bookstore? I was a commuter student, and books were my biggest expense. They are often from small print companies, can cost 100.00 and more, and often can only be resold for half their original cost.
ReplyDeleteCould he use a Walmart gift card to set up his apartment? Is there one nearby with easy access for him?
ReplyDeleteDoes Fred have an Amazon Prime account? As a fellow college student I'm able to get the bulk of my text books much cheaper on Amazon than I can get them through the college bookstore and Amazon Prime offers free 2 day shipping on tons of items, including most of the text books I get through Amazon. If he doesn't have a Prime account, I would love to gift him one.
ReplyDeleteBtw students can get a free 6mth prime account. You have to use your school email and then after the 6 mths its $49 for a year.
Deletei will be sending fred some clothing and sneakers.his story has me in tears i cant wait to follow him through his college years.i dont know fred but i am very proud of this youg man. keep following your dreams fred you are no doubt going to be an amazing doctor or what ever you choose to be.
ReplyDeleteI'm in tears and super proud of this young man..I wish I lived in Georgia because I would take him food and spend time with him as a family member...I babe children his age and to read good story make me want to go slap my ungrateful kids up side their head! Keep up the great work Fred!
ReplyDeleteDoes he already have a TV? I have one I was holding back to give him if he needs one. It's not very big but it will work in a bedroom.
ReplyDeleteI can't afford to buy it, but hoping someone will buy him a laptop for school (who is coordinating this to make sure he doesn't get duplicates?). Also, hoping some local family will step up and take him in next Summer break and maybe school breaks/holidays (or give him a ride to his family).
